We are four people in Algeciras, down at the southern tip of Spain where you can see Africa across the strait. We design email templates. That is pretty much the whole story.
The studio started because one of us spent years fighting with Outlook rendering bugs at a marketing agency and thought: somebody should just specialize in this. Turns out there are not many studios that only do email design. Most agencies treat email templates as an afterthought, the thing a junior designer handles between website projects.
We treat it as the main thing. We have built over 200 email templates for companies across Spain, Portugal, and a few in France and Germany. We test every template in 40+ email clients because the rendering differences between Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and Yahoo are genuinely absurd.
Algeciras is an unusual place for a design studio. It is a port city, not a tech hub. But the cost of living is reasonable, the weather is good all year, and the internet works fine. Most of our clients have never visited and probably never will. We work remotely and it has not been a problem once.
Why just email templates?
Because email rendering is a completely separate discipline from web design. A div that works perfectly in Chrome will break in Outlook. CSS that is standard on the web is completely unsupported in Gmail. Email HTML is basically web development from 2004, except you also have to make it work in dark mode. It requires specific knowledge that most web designers do not have and do not want to learn.
The Outlook problem
Microsoft Outlook uses Word as its HTML rendering engine. Yes, Microsoft Word. That means no flexbox, no grid, no background images that work reliably, no CSS variables, no media queries in some versions. We know all the workarounds because we have been dealing with them for years. Our templates look good in Outlook because we build them specifically for Outlook from the start, not as an afterthought.
Algeciras
We are at the southern tip of Spain, across the water from Morocco. It is a port town, not a startup hub. But the rent is cheap, the fish is fresh, the weather is warm, and the internet is fast enough. We work with clients all over Spain and a few in other European countries. Nobody has ever needed to visit us in person to get a good email template.
Emails, nothing else.
We do not design websites. We do not build apps. We do not manage social media. Just emails. That is how we got good at this.

We code every email by hand. No drag-and-drop builders. That is the only way to ensure consistent rendering across all clients.
